Tampa: Celebrating Summer Solstice
June 19 @ 6:00 pm UTC+0
Summer Solstice is celebrated in many Northern Hemisphere countries as the longest day of the year (June 21.)
While we don’t routinely celebrate the occasion in Florida (we have lots of sunlight hours!), it’s the perfect opportunity to socialize and celebrate the half-year point with Heart of Agile colleagues.
We’ll talk about and share stories related to the Heart of Agile: Collaborate, Deliver, Reflect, Improve. It promises to be lively as Dr. Cockburn will have just returned from a six-week European tour (teaching Heart of Agile concepts) and Carol Dekkers will be back from the first annual HoA leaders meeting in Vienna (convened by Dr. Cockburn). We’ll have lots to share, discuss, and socialize about regarding advancements with the Heart of Agile.
Food: It was suggested by attendees in March that we try a “potluck” event, so please bring a dish (or pick one up on your way to the event) that would serve 10-15 people. To ensure a variety of dishes, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW about what you will bring.
**** Updated June 10 2019:
Drink: BYOB (beer or wine or non-alcoholic drink)
Thank you to Stan Liberatore and Mike DeLucia of No Limit Technology for providing the venue for this event! (Please see below for a photo of the facility. The awning at the front door reads, “La Cucina Alessi.” On the building, to the left of the awning, is a large number “8.”)
Let’s enjoy the sunshine, friendships, and socialize together. This will be the last Heart of Agile Meetup until September.
