Background
Rocío is a student at Harvard University and is a member of the Harvard Alumni Chapter in Washington DC. She is based in Washington DC, USA and has offices in Costa Rica and Central America as well.
Rocío's specialty is in rescuing projects and companies through Agile. She is recognized as a leader in several Heart of Agile communities. She is also a well known activist in PMI, and has been one of the reviewers of the PMBOK Guide new standards as part of the global standards and consensus committee.
She is co-founder of Social Impact Agile with Alistair Cockburn. She has worked as a Subject matter Expert for Agile guides at the IDB, Inter-American Development Bank, used currently in Latin America and the Carribean countries. On top of that, she is also the writer of the column "Positive Disruption" in the Management Day Magazine and the Velero.cr newspaper.
In her country of origin, Costa Rica, Rocío has been recognized as one of the most influential women in Science and Technology.
